KATHMANDU, July 14: Nepal’s national flag carrier or the national aviation service provider, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has added up two more airport shuttle buses for the facility of the passengers.

NAC upon holding the contract to provide ground handling services in Nepal’s sole International Airport now has a total of 4 airport shuttle buses. The NAC has informed that the new ones will come into operation from next week.

The newly bought German-manufactured COBUS 3000 is claimed to have the capacity to hold up to 110 passengers.

The carrier has purchased the two buses at a cost of Rs100 million. Currently, NAC moved to add buses following complaints by airlines that they had become inadequate as traveller numbers had swelled tremendously.
