NAC Airbus starts commercial flights

KATHMANDU, Aug 05: The Airbus 330-200 wide-body aircraft recently purchased by Nepal Airlines has started commercial flights. This is the first of two wide-body aircraft that the NAC purchased for AAR Corporation.

The flights started after the aircraft received the Air Operation Certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. The aircraft, named Annapurna, conducted landed at Doha on Wednesday at 9:30 pm after a flight of around 5 hours. The flight carried 246 passengers out of a capacity for 274. The aircraft returned from Doha on Thursday carrying 259 passengers.
