NAC decides to operate two Y12-e ships before Dashain

KATHMANDU, Oct 01: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has decided to operate two Chinese ships in remote areas by targeting Dashain. Test flights in 6 different places were conducted by two ships of Y12-e after being grounded for a long period of time.
Ashok Sigdel, Spokesperson of the NAC said that, after the successful test flight they are preparing the necessary documents to receive approval from Civil Aviation Authority Nepal to conduct flights before Dashain.” We are going to take permission and we will be operating flights in 6 destinations before Dashain, “he added.
Jomsom, Simikot, Talcha, Jumla, Dolpa and Lukla are the destination of the corporation. The corporation has conducted test flight of 2 out of 4 Chinese ship and the other 2 is under maintenance. The corporation had faced problems in operating flights before due to lack of pilots and maintenance.
After being appointed as Executive Chairman, he urged the companies to focus on operating the current ships rather than buying new ships.
