NAC executive chairman adhikari sacked

KATHMANDU, Aug 04: The government has sacked Yuvraj Adhikari, the executive chairman of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC). The government sacked the officer based on the report of the inquiry committee.
The official was sacked from the post at the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday.
He was suspended after the government formed an inquiry committee on the former.
The officer approached the Supreme Court against the suspension and returned to work with an interim order. After suspending the officer, the government temporarily appointed pilot Deepu Jwarchan as general manager.
