NAC hiring three Chinese captains

KATHMANDU, April 02: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has decided to hire three Chinese pilots in order for them to operate the existing Y-12 Harbin aircraft which have been out in the sun of Tribhuvan international airport for a very long time.

Currently, Nepal airlines has four Chinese Harbin aircraft and the country only had two Nepalese captains for the aircraft till now out of which one has not been able to operate it due to license renewal issue and the other pilot has fallen ill.

The corporation has decided to hire three more captains for four Chinese aircraft paying them eight thousand dollars a month which is a thousand dollar more than what Nepalese captains of Y-12 Harbin have been receiving. The corporation has also announced that these captains will be able to speak English which won’t create a problem in Nepal’s airspace.
