According to Shrestha, the process of obtaining the operation permit is currently underway. "The wide-body will be received by coming June," he said, "the flights will start 5-7 days after that." Nepal Airlines is also preparing to start flights to Australia. "Australia and Nepal have not yet signed the air transport agreement," said Shrestha, "after signing the agreement, we will move forward with the remaining processes."

Shrestha informed that the process to start flights in Australia will move forward after successfully starting flights to Japan, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia. It is only possible to request flight permits to a country after signing the air transport agreement.
