NAC Purchasing Software to Strengthen its Information Management

KATHMANDU, Jan 03: Nepal Airline Corporation has started to improve their internal management to strengthen their information management while it prepares to add a number of big jets to its service. The advancement of computerization in the field of engineering and operation will raise the bars in effective manner.

The Managing Director of NAC, Mr. Sugat Ratna Kansakar, informed that to strengthen the engineering and operation, the Corporation is buying new software and once this software comes into operation it will be easier to manage the pilot and the cabin crew. According to him, the corporation will deal with India’s Sheorey Digital Systems Limited for the software for 30 million rupees after two weeks. This company is internationally certified with I.S.O 9001:2008 and has been contributing in the information management sector for more than 40 years.

With the arrival of the new software, the aviation engineering, aviation repair and maintenance and operation of corporation will improve drastically. Kansakar said that after the employees are trained regarding the software it will be operated within three months which will decrease aviation accidents and risk.
