NAC resumes flights to Meghauli Airport

CHITWAN, Nov 30: One of the cheapest and the state owned air service provider the Nepal Airlines has resumed its flights to Meghauli airport in Chitwan from Wednesday.
With the resumption of the flights the airlines will make trio flights to the place in a week.
“Currently we will be operating three flights in a week but with the probability of changes depending upon the flow of passengers,” Spokesperson of the NAC Rabindra Shrestha said.
The airport which is now seeing the flights of NAC is about 30 Kilometers far from the adjacent Bharatpur Airport.
The currently on operation airport is a grassland airport which came into operation from 1986. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal retains the authority about whether to pitch or unpitch the airport.
