NAC Second Wide Body Makalu to start commercial flight from September

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Nepal Airlines will start its commercial flight with second wide body “Makalu” from September 1. The flight brought to Tribhuwan International Airport from Toulouse, France. The Managing director of Nepal Air Corporation, Sugatratna Kanskar said that after completing all the required process the ship will start its commercial flight from first September.

Makalu will be flying in the same old destination whereas the corporation has plans to add more 3 new destinations; Saudi Arab, Japan and Korea but the process has not been completed yet.

NAC has been flying to 3 major cities of India, Malaysia, Dubai, Doha, Bangkok and Hong Kong. NAC had taken loan from the government to buy two ships. The first wide body “Annapurna started its commercial flight from 1st August.
