NAC visiting France to inspect under-construction Airbus

KATHMANDU, Mar 06: Nepal Airlines is visiting France to see the 330 Widebody Airbus that is being built there. The airplane is expected to arrive in Nepal in May 2018. Spokesperson Rabindra Shrestha said that they will bring the airplane in the deadline and to view its progress they would visit France in March.
The airline already has three airplanes and now two more widebody airplanes have added so it is aiming to take long flights. It is aiming to fly in Korea and Japan. According to Shrestha, ground handler is being selected in Korea and tender application is being taken in Japan. The airplane will make first flight in South Korea’s Incho International Airport and other countries in its priorities are Japan, China and Australia. NAC has already paid 10 billion rupees according to the deal. The remaining sum of 21 billion rupees will be paid 1 week before the delivery of the airplane.
