National Forum of Photo Journalists announces "Nepal in Lockdown" photo competition

KATHMANDU, Sep 23: On the occasion of the 24th Anniversary of the National Forum of Photo Journalists (NFPJ), Nepal), they have announced a photo competition program titled "Nepal in Lockdown" program this year.
The photographs taken during the Lockdown period will be included in this competition. To participate in the competition, the participants can send their pictures that were clicked from March 24 to September 16. The purpose of this competition is to showcase photographs covering the daily struggles of the common people during the Lockdown, the changing habits of the people after the pandemic, the challenges faced by the Nepalis, and the impact on daily life, nature, and environment.
The arrangement has been made for the participants to include a maximum of three photos in the competition. The top 10 photos will be selected, and each of the top 10 winning photojournalists and photographers will receive Rs. 10,000 cash prizes along with the certificates. All Nepalis can participate in the competition by sending photos.
To participate, the interested ones can send their pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org, or they can log on to the official website www.nfpjnepal.com. The photo must be 12 x 18 inches with 300 resolution. The caption of the photo should be mentioned.
NFPJ founding President and Senior photojournalist Chandra Shekhar Karki, Former NFPJ Presidents Minratna Bajracharya, Vikas Rauniyar, Kavindra Man Shakya, Rajbhai Suwal, and Charu Chadda, editor of 360 magazine, will be the jury of the competition.
