NATTA conducts lamp-lighting ceremony to remember US-Bangla plane crash

KATHMANDU, Mar 24: The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has expressed condolences to those that lost their lives in the US-Bangla plane crash, and wished a quick recovery to those who were injured in the crash. NATTA conducted lamp-lighting ceremony to remember the lost souls.

A lamp lightening ceremony was observed by NATTA in the 13th day of the US-Bangla plane crash at Naxal, Narayanchaur in the memory of those killed in the plane crash and for the recovery of those who are injured.

The aircraft serving the flight, a 78 seater Bombardier Dash Q 400- US Bangla, crashed on landing and brust on the flames.There were 67 passengers and 4 crew members on board; 51 people died while 20 were injured.

3 tourism professionals involved with NATTA; Hari Sankar Poudel, Prabin Chitrakar and Sajana Devkota died during the plane crash whereas 11 members were injured.
