NATTA organizing China Out-Bound Travel and Tourism Market and Nepal China Sales Mission-2018

KATHMANDU, April 13: The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), is organizing the China Out-Bound Travel and Tourism Market (COTTM) and the Nepal China Sales Mission for this year, in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board.

The COTTM expo is taking place in Beijing, China from April 16-18, while the China Sales Mission will be conducted from April 19-25 in different cities of China including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. The Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Krishna Prasad Devkota will be heading the team organizing the events.

First Vice-President of NATTA, Achyut Sharma Guragain, and Coordinator of the China Tour Promotion Committee, Sudarshan Nepal will also be a part of the team. Additionally, 10 Nepali companies will be taking part in the COTTM expo while 20 companies will be a part of the Nepal China Sales Mission.

The events will also have the participation of the Nepali Ambassador for China, Lila Mani Paudel. The programs will be a platform for business-to-business interactions between Nepali and Chinese businesses, and also feature marches in Nepali traditional dresses, making this iteration of the events different and more memorable than before.

Coordinator of the Nepal China Sales Mission, Sudarshan Nepal, said that the program will inform about the Nepali culture, lifestyle, and traditions amongst the Chinese tourists and help to promote Nepali tourism in China by stirring curiosity among the Chinese visitors.

NATTA President C.N. Pandey has said that it is essential to open all border points keeping in mind the large market for Nepali tourism found in the country.
Opening the border points would allow the number of Chinese tourists visiting Nepal to increase significantly.
