NATTA Pays Tribute to Former President Late YP Khanal

KATHMANDU, Nov 13: Nepal Association of Travel and Tour Agents (NATTA) organized a program to pay Tribute to its former President Late Yadav Prasad Khanal on 13th November 2017 on the 13th day since his passing away in Kathmandu.
Late Khanal served NATTA as President from 1968 to 1970.
Present in the program were NATTA Executive Committee, former Presidents of NATTA Mr. RM Singh, Mr. Joy Dewan, Mr. Rabi Poudel, Mr. Dhruba Narayan Shreshta, Mr. Ram Kaji Koney and Mr. Arjun Prasad Sharma, Presidents of leading tourism associations like TAAN Mr. Navaraj Dahal and SOTTO Mr. Anil Lama, NTB Board Member Mr. Purna Kunwar, NATO's Vice President Mr. Bikram Pandey, NATO Secretary General Mr. Amar Bahadur Shahi, NATTA members, tourism entrepreneurs and journalists.
Speaking on the occasion, NATTA President Mr. Madhu Sudan Acharya highlighted Late Khanal's brief biography and his contribution to tourism industry as former President and Advisor.
On behalf of former Presidents, Mr. RM Singh shared his knowledge about Late Khanal and his contribution in tourism during the initial period of the formation of NATTA as an umbrella organization.
Secretary General of NATTA Mr. Bhim Panta conducted the program and First Vice President Mr. CN Pandey expressed thanks to all the participants.
All the participants observed a minute's silence and paid tribute to Late Khanal by offering flowers at his photo.
