KATHMANDU, May 18: Nepal Chamber of Commerce has submitted suggestions to the government for formulating revenue policy and program, fiscal bill and budget for the fiscal year 2077/78.

The chamber has submitted the suggestion to the revenue Secretary of the Finance Ministry Ram Sharan Pudasaini about the current impact and the work to be done to bring it up. The suggestion is to provide facilities for the operation of the ailing industry and for the rehabilitation of the victims.

They have suggested that Corona's influence on domestic tourism needs to be curtailed as soon as possible and for this the government must incentivize public for domestic travel once a year with incentive packages and also promote domestic tourism by giving some discounts to the private sector through packages. Also, they have suggested that in order to encourage marital tourism, there should be an arrangement for such tourists to bring jewelry on condition that they take it back.
