Nepal concludes successful participation in TTF Chennai 2018

KATHMANDU, Feb 24: Nepal has successfully concluded its participation in the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) Chennai 2018, conducted from 16-18 February in Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai, India.

TTF is India’s largest travel expo which provides marketing platform and networking opportunities with key travel trade players. This year’s TTF Chennai saw the participation of over 136 exhibitors from 6 countries and 20 Indian States and Union Territories.

The Nepal Stall was awarded with the Best Stall Decoration Award in the Big Pavilion category at the end of the expo.

Nepal featured a customized pavilion on display with colorful graphics of prime destinations, products and activities of Nepal with special focus on pilgrimage and soft adventure attraction that Nepal has to offer to the South Indian visitors. NTB received queries for mainly pilgrimage and leisure tours, chiefly to Pashupatinath, Manakamana, Muktinath, and Damodar Kunda.

NTB representatives at Nepal Stall disseminated the information to the visitors using promotional materials such as Travelers’ Information, Booklets, Maps and posters. A variety of videos were also played at the stall promoting nature, culture and adventure products and activities offered by Nepal.

NTB was represented in the event by Mr. Khem Raj Timalsena, Kundan Sharma Mishra and Mr. Jhamak Narayan Ghimire. 13 Companies that participated under the NTB banner were Satyam Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., All Seasons Adventure Pvt. Ltd., Snowy Horizon Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd., Summit Air, Buddha Air, ABC Adventures Pvt. Ltd., Shakti Travels & Tours Pvt.
