KATHMANDU, June 14: Nepal-Hong Kong trade fair is to be organised at Hong Kong Cultural Centre from June 24.
Consulate General of Nepal in Hong Kong, Hong Kong-Nepalese Business Association and Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal are jointly organising a two-day event.
Director General of the Federation, Dr Govinda Prasad Regmi, said that major handicraft items produced in Nepal would be put on a display and for sale in the fair.
On the sidelines of the fair, a cultural programme has been scheduled to be organised which will depict Nepal's art and culture.
The Federation has the belief that the fair would help promote Nepali art and culture at an international-level and further strengthen cultural and trade relations existing between Nepal and Hong Kong.
More than 50 people from Nepal will participate in the fair, according to the Federation.
