KATHMANDU, July 18: The Nepal Japan Tourism Research Center, a group of Nepalis working and studying in the tourism sector, is organizing a one-day discussion and work paper presentation program called "The Role of Non-Resident Nepalis in Promotion of Tourism in Nepal: Context Visit Nepal 2020". The program is being organized in collaboration with the Far Western Society Japan, Rapti Society, Parwat Society, and Youth For All.
The program is being organized in the International Hall of JICA situated near Ichigaya Station in Tokyo on August 5. The program is being conducted in context of the lessening number of Japanese tourists in Nepal every year, and is hoped to provide the Nepal Tourism Board with a strong strategy for market promotion in Japan. Organizer Bishnu Khanal informed that the program will conduct discussion on ways to attract more tourists from Japan, and hand over the conclusions of the discussion to the Nepal Tourism Board.
The program will be divided in two sections; the first will include the presentation of various work papers by participants while the second will involve a group discussion of the participants.
