Nepal receives Council President Certificate from ICAO

KATHMANDU, June 17: Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister, Rabindra Adhikari, have recognized the certificate given by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

ICAO has provided certificates to as Nepal has fulfilled the standard of safety requirements in 2017. The Minister Adhikari has reached Canada to receive the safety certificate. ICAO has removed Nepal from a list of safety nearly after last four year in this July.

The ICAO has provided Council President Certificate to Nepal, including countries like Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Costa Rica, Tanzania, Rwanda, Equatorial Ghana, Romania, Panama, Kuwait, Jordan, Indonesia, Portugal and Finland.

Even there is the presence of director levels workers to receive the certificate, from Nepal Tourism Minister with General secretary of CAAN, Sanjiv Gautam went to Canada.Director of the CAAN, Rajan Pokharel, told that tourism minister has visited Canada himself to honor team of ICAO as they had supported to remove the name of Nepal from serious security concern by sending 3 experts to Nepal for 1 year.
