Nepal witnesses rebound in passengers travelling via International airways

KATHMANDU, Nov 19: Nepal has witnessed rebound in passengers travelling through international airways with the number rising to 2,748,338 within first 9 months of 2017. The number of passengers is as high by 2,406,64 in comparison to previous year. 2,770,674 passengers assessed the international flights in previous year from the month of January to September.
According to the data on 2017- interval of 9 months, 1,48,330,74 passengers departure from Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA). Likewise, arriving passengers reached around 1,264,964. In the same time period 12,870,69 passengers departure from Tribhuwan International Airport likewise, 12,20,613 passengers arrived Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA).
According to the data of 2015, total number of passengers who travelled through Tribhuwan International Airport reached 32,170,62. Also, data of 2016 the passengers has been increased, by analyzing the data the number of passenger have reached 35,10,742.
According to the judgment of airport chancellery - due to random flow of passengers data of 2017 would result around 3,000,000.
Airport chancellery also mentioned that, the main reason behind increase the number of tourist is development tourism industry in Nepal. The sources also explained that 29 airlines pass through touching the air of Nepal. Also, Nepal Airlines , Himlaya Airlines and Buddha Air is known as international flights. Buddha air has already taken 2 flights at Banaras airport in India.
The numbers of flights and landings also increased with the number of airway passenger.
