Nepal’s District across the Himalayas to get resort with 170 million rupees investment

MUSTANG, Oct 11: Targeting the religious tourists visiting esteemed religious place, Muktinath, a modern well facilitated resort is about to be established in an investment of 170 million rupees.
This particular resort constructed on the investment of Sonam Lama, US Regional Coordinator of Non Residential Nepali Club (NRN), will be operational within a year. The main building of the resort has already been constructed while painting, cottage, apple garden and parking site are yet to be constructed.
Lama informed that the construction of this resort started three years ago and has 20 rooms. This resort constructed on around 80 ropani land, rented for 30 years from local peoples, will be finished in two phase. 80 percent of first phase work has been finished while second phase work starts with commencement of the resort.
The resort facilitates contemporary services along with rock-climbing arrangements. There will be apple garden around the neighborhood. 10 Million rupees in first phase and 7 million more in second phase will be invested.
“We have targeted the the domestic tourists along with Indians and third country tourists visiting Muktinath,” Lama said.
He also asserted of giving topmost priority to local peoples for employment. With operation of Beni- Jomsom- Kagbeni and Muktinath road, the number of domestic as well as Indian tourists proceeding Muktinath is increasing tremendously.
Traffic of tourists from third country is also notable in Muktinath which is under round Annapurna. Lama also constructed 34 feet tall statue of Buddha in Muktinath, the centre of faith for both Hindus and Buddhists.
