Nepal's publicity for tourism promotion

TOKYO, April 18: Publicity-based rallies were organised at 12 major places including Tokyo on Sunday at the initiative of Nepalis leaving in Japan.
A message reading 'The birthplace of Gautam Buddha is Nepal' and 'Mt. Everest is in Nepal' in Japanese, English and Nepali languages were publicized in Tokyo, the capital city of Japan, with the special support of Nepali Embassy in Japan. The Non-Resident-Nepalis Association, Japan, had organised the programme.
Youths in Nepali Dhaka topi and Daura Suruwal carrying the portraits of Sagarmatha and Lumbini invited Japanese nationals to visit Nepal, saying 'Atithi Debo Bhawa' or Guest is God.
On the occasion, Charge de' Affairs of the Nepali Embassy, Krishna Chandra Aryal, expressed the belief that the result of the publicity by Nepalis in Japan for the tourism promotion would be seen soon.
Similarly, NRNA, Japan, Vice-Chairman, Bhuwan Bhatta, said that initiative taken by Non-Resident Nepalis in building a prosperous Nepal is significant.
