Global IME Bank organises financial literacy program for students in seven provinces

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank has concluded Global Money Week, which was created to promote financial literacy among youth and students.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank's annual schedule, during the eleventh edition of Global Money Week, which is celebrated every year for a week in March, the bank held a program with the slogan 'Plan Your Money, Plant Your Future' from March 20th to March 26th.

According to the bank, the financial awareness enhancement program was carried out by the branch offices of the seven provinces, with students from various schools and colleges participating.

As part of this campaign, the bank has conducted various programs aimed at increasing awareness about banking services and financial markets. Under which financial awareness interactions have been conducted through various branch offices of the bank. In addition to this, the bank also broadcasts awareness-raising audio-visual materials through social media.

According to the bank, 'Global Money Week,' which has been held in more than 170 countries every year since 2012, is a global campaign that aims to raise awareness about the importance of financial education among teenagers and young adults.

The bank is providing services to more than 4 million customers from more than 1000 service centers including 364 branch offices, 363 ATMs, 321 branchless banking services, 64 extension and revenue collection counters and 3 foreign representative offices.
