First Khaptad International Spiritual Conference begins on June 6th

KATHMANDU, May 24:The first Khaptad International Spiritual Conference will be held from June 6th to 8th June.

The Khaptad Region Tourism Development and Management Committee announced the conference on Tuesday at a news conference in Kathmandu.

This conference, according to the management committee, will be organized to develop the Khaptad area as a spiritual meditation center, which is a heritage of biological richness, natural beauty, and spiritual faith.

The conference will also be inaugurated by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, according to the organizers. The meeting will be attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, previous Prime Minister, Ministers, Chief Ministers, and State Ministers, according to Hark Bahadur Singh, Chairman of the Management Committee.

He estimates that over 500 people will attend the conference. The meeting will feature Yogaguru Ramdev, Jagatguru Baalsanta, Ayurveda Shiromani Balakrishna Acharya, and other spiritual leaders, he said.

According to Chairman Singh, the meeting was viewed as a critical beginning point for Nepal's tourist development.
