Govt waives climbing royalty for seven Koreans and three Nepalese on Mt. Jugal

KATHMANDU, March 25:The Nepal government has decided to waive mountaineering fees for seven South Korean and three Nepalese mountaineers.

The Council of Ministers waived the mountaineering fees for scaling Mt Jugal, according to Minister for Information and Technology and Spokesperson Rekha Sharma.

The government made this decision on the 50th anniversary of Nepal's diplomatic relations with the Republic of Korea. 

This ruling allows 10 mountaineers, including seven South Koreans and three Nepalese, to climb Jugal-I (6,591 meters) and Jugal-II (6,518 meters) in Sindhupachowk district for free.
