NRNA 's Promoting Tourism thru Video Contest

KATHMANDU, July 10: Non- residential Nepali Association (NRNA) has come up with a mission to promote tourism industry of Nepal with global video challenge in association with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) partners like HAN, TAAN, Turkish Airlines, among others. The program is designed solely to draw maximum number of short videos from anyone interested persons on Nepal that reflects country and its diversity. The video should be no more than 3 minutes of length.
In our query, Joint Treasurer of NRNA, ICC and Convener of Tourism Promotion Nepal, Sub-Committee, Som Sapkota viewed that the contest is initiated as a cornerstone for Visit Nepal Year 2020. 'The videos uploaded will mirror the entire nation, thereby inspiring more people to visit Nepal', he said.
Bal Krishna Shrestha, NRNA, ICC member and co-convener of NRNA Tourism Promotion Nepal, Sub -Committee, informed us that the global response on video upload has heralded a positive sign of this campaign. He further said that such a program should be massively conducted to popularize Nepal from all quarters.
Similarly, Deepesh Shakya, who leads Experience Nepal Campaign with a view to globalizing Nepalese Cuisines expressed happiness and expected the entry of meaningful videos which cover themes beyond nature, culture and adventure as well.
The winners will be categorized in first, second and third position. The winners will be given away a cash prize of 1 lakh, 75 thousand and 50 thousand respectively to first, second and third. The participants must submit their videos by 19 July, 2018.
