NTB honors various companies contributing in tourism sector

KATHMANDU, Sep 28: On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB)has honored various agencies that had the most influential contribution in the tourism sector. Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikari distributed awards to the tourism entrepreneurs.

In the following ceremony, a Jet airways was awarded with the Airlines which entered most of the tourists. Likewise, Sashwat Dham and Nawalparasi were awarded with the new destination contributing towards the tourism sector. Also Nepal Airlines was awarded for earning more foreign currency and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal for paying more tax to the government.

Similarly,Uddhav Raj Rijal was awarded for creating logo for Visit Nepal 2020 campaign. Speaking at the ceremony, Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikari expressed his plans on developing tourism as the main aspect of economy in the country.
