NTB participates in JATA Tourism Expo 2017

KATHMANDU, Oct 01 : Nepal Tourism Board participated JATA Tourism Expo in Japan from September 21 to 24, 2017.

Expo was participated in by 150 countries and 47 prefectures of Japan. During the Expo , Nepal Tourism Board disseminated the information about Lumbini and other tourism destinations through Nepal stall.

The Cultural Program scheduled for September 23rd strongly replicated some of the icons of Nepali culture show.

The Japanese visitors, together with the Nepali performers, danced into the tune of Nepali song “ResamFiriri and other songs.”The cultural performance was a successful side event during the JATA Tourism Expo 2017. Ambassador of Nepal in Japan graced Nepal stand at the Expo and the cultural performance. NTB HPRR Mr. Anuj Thapa, was also there during the Expo.

The information was strongly looked for and therefore dispatched among the visitors and buyers by the participants. Altogether, five Nepali companies formally participated this Expo.

Nepal Airlines sponsored free air ticket for the visitors visiting and dropping their business card on lucky draw basis for all the fair days i.e., on 22nd, 23rd and 24th of September 2017. The placement of sponsorship advert at the entrance and attractive stand design increased the number of footfalls in Nepal pavilion.

Nepal Tourism Board assisted in providing and distributing Nepal promotional materials among the high level delegates and diplomats during the celebration of National Day of Nepal on 20th September 2017, which provided a prestigious platform for promotion of Nepal in the milieu of the event.
