Number of resorts around Parsa National Park rises

PARSA, Nov 23 : The number of resorts around the Parsa National Park in Nepal has been increasing tremendously. With the works of construction of Nijgadh Airport and the fast track to link the Southern Plains with Kathmandu has increased the interest of the investors with increasing investment in resorts.

Hospitality Entrepreneur Mohan Sharma is investing 20.50 million rupees for his new resort named Elephant Village Resort. The resort which is near its completion will have well facilitated rooms, swimming polls and guides for the jungle walk.

The Parsa National Park which covers an area of 6 Hundred and 73 Square kilometers has religious as well as organic diversity.

“With the increased investment in the hospitality sector around the national park this will contribute to the promotion of the area economically,” Chief Conservation Officer Hari Bhakta Acharya said.

An estimated two thousand tourists reach the area every tear and the construction of the fast track and the International Airport has increased the hope amongst the people.
