Number of tourists entering Langtang National Park reaches 15,000

KATHMANDU, Feb 13: About 15,000 tourists have entered the Langtang National Park. During the first three months of the current fiscal year, there were 14,000 tourists. 

There are 8 thousand 6 hundred 50 Nepalese, 6 thousand two hundred 6 foreigners and one hundred SAARC nation tourists. Around 1,000 to 19,000 tourists come every year to study and observe the tourist areas within the park area. During the month of Shrawan, there were 5,410 Nepalese, 212 foreigners and three SAARC nationals.

 Similarly, in October there were nine hundred thirteen Nepalese one thousand eight hundred foreigners and 39 foreigners of SAARC countries. In November there were one thousand two hundred Nepalese, one thousand four hundred two foreigners and twenty seven from SAARC.

Among the tourists who came to the park, the tourist areas of Langtang, the religious places of Gosaikunda and Tamang heritage have been studied and visited. Less tourists come to the park from July to October. More tourists are arriving from mid-November to mid-November and from April to the end of May.
