Inaugurating the exhibition, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Dr Chiranjivi Nepal stressed the need to preserve the old notes and coins as they depict the evolution of development and civilization of the then time.

Noting that there has been a compulsion to publish the Nepali notes in foreign countries, he suggested the general public to protect the old notes.

The programme was organized to demonstrate the notes of different countries and make the public informed of its history, shared currency collector Jayahari Jha and programme coordinator Sagarman Shrestha.
