Panchakanya Group offers financial aid to female journalists climbing Everest

KATHMANDU, Mar 11: Panchakanya Group has provided financial assistance to the First Women Journalists' Everest Expedition 2018, a group of Nepali women journalists attempting to climb the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.
The company extended its best wishes to the team comprising of journalists Rosha Basnet (National News Agency), Priya Laxmi Karki (News 24), Rojita Buddhacharya (Nepal Television), Deurali Chamling (freelancer) and Kalpana Maharjan (Megha Television).
The company said in a press statement that its Managing Director, Pradeep Kumar Shrestha, had handed over a cheque of Rs 200,000 to Dreamers Destination Trek and Expedition, which will lead the expedition, during a program in the company office on Tuesday.
Panchakanya Group said it has been supporting such causes as part of fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.
