KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is going to mobilize the volunteer students from its student chapter in Tribhuwan International Airport in order to welcome tourists in Visit Nepal Year 2020. The students will volunteer for 24 hrs and Tribhuwan International Airport will coordinate with the volunteers

Suresh Singh Budal, CEO of PATA Nepal Chapter, said the scheme was designed as part of an experimental examination of students studying in the College of Tourism and Hospitality. According to him, three 'shift' students will be assigned as volunteers.

The student has to do the job of welcoming the tourists who are coming to Nepal in a sweet way by making them comfortable. For this, daily meal expenses will be arranged for the students who are assigned. At present, training is being conducted to inform the students  about tourist behavior.
