Pokhara-Kathmandu VIP bus service kick starts

POKHARA: Pokhara Jagadamba Travels has started the VIP bus service with facilities of mini bar, toilet, wash basin, on Pokhara –Kathmandu route.


"The service was started with only two buses. One bus is worth rupees 10 million. The bus has only 28 seats." Owner of the bus, Keshar Prasad Adhikari said.


With the luxurious seats in the bus, the passengers can rest their legs. There is the provision of tea, coffee and cold drinks for the passengers. Bus crew is responsible for providing the services. Free WiFi, water, juice and television service in the bus attracts the passengers.


The ticket fee for foreigner is Two Thousand Rupees and for Nepali national is One Thousand and Five Hundred Rupees. Passengers can enjoy the coolness of AC and heatness of heater. The bus is supposed to leave from Lakeside at 10 AM and from Amarsingh Chowk at 11 AM for Kathmandu and from Kalanki, the bus is supposed to leave at 11 AM to Pokhara. The bus was inaugurated by Chief of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce, Wiswashankhar Palikhel.
