KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Honorable Prime Minister of Nepal, KP Sharman Oli requested people to address world's highest peak as 'Sagarmatha' rather than calling it as Mount Everest.

Speaking during inauguration of the 56th conference of General Directors of Civil Aviation conducted in Kathmandu today, he requested everyone to address world's highest peak as Sagarmatha. He also has shown his dissatisfaction over the world using the word ‘rhino’ while talking about gaida (Nepali word for rhino). He said that we should call rhinos as Gaida. Altogether 400 foreigners are taking part in the conference in which 291 representatives from 43 countries and participants of 23 organizations are included.

'Gaidas are Gaidas not rhino," he added. He also mentioned that Tribhuvan International Airport was being turned into a boutique airport because Nepal was getting two international airports. The conference was held in Soltee Hotel and 12 agendas will be presented in the following conference.
