Prince of Bahrain and his team arrive in Nepal for mountaineering

KATHMANDU, Sep 16: An 18-member team including, the Prince of Bahrain Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has arrived in Nepal for mountaineering. According to the Tribhuwan Airport Office, they arrived in Kathmandu at around 11 in the morning.

They were brought to Kathmandu Airport by a special plane from Shaikh Isa Airways. Fifteen Bahraini nationals and three British nationals working in the Royal Guard of Bahrain are part of the team. According to the embassy, ​​the team will stay in Nepal for two months.

The team, including the prince, will climb Mt. Lobuche and Manaslu and is expected to climb the highest peak  Mt. Everest, in 2021 AD. The embassy said that the members participating in the mountaineering and the crew members have been in self-quarantine for the last 15 days. The result of the corona test was also negative. The team will meet the health standards set by the government while staying in Nepal.
