Rajbiraj Airport likely to be completed before deadline

SAPTARI, March 4 : The construction of the runway at Rajbiraj airport in Saptari is likely to get completed before the deadline.
Information about this was shared at an interaction program organized by the International Relations and Labor Committee under the Legislature-Parliament at airport's meeting hall Thursday.
On the occasion, Airport Construction Project chief Ramekwal Mahato said the airport would come into operation for conducting test flights by coming mid-July, five months earlier than the deadline.
The construction of the 150-meter-long and 30-meter-wide runway is going on in full-swing, he added. The construction is estimated to cost Rs 303 million.
Committee president Prabhu Saha said the Committee had given top priority to the airport construction and pledged no budgetary constraint for it.
