Rhinos rescued from India

CHITWAN, Sep 02: A team of employees from the Chitwan National Park and National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) rescued an adult female rhino from India's Balmiki Tiger Reserves Friday.

Information Officer of Chitwan National Park Nurendra Aryal said the rhino was being brought to Chitwan from India and it would be freed at Sauraha in Ratnanagar of the National Park Saturday morning.

This is the seventh rhino rescued from India. The pachyderm was swept away by the recent floods.
