Runway of Gautam Buddha Interational Airport to be Blacktopping within 6 months

BHAIRAHAWA, Oct 30: The runways of the Gautam Buddha International Airport built as the alternative airport of Tribhuwan International Airport is being blacktopping. Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister, Rabindra Adhikari attended the construction field.
He also directed to complete the work as soon as possible to operate the airport. Within 6 month of time the runway will be blacktopping and then within 10 months the airport will be operated. The length of the airport is 3,047 m long and it is being constructed in the investment of more than 6 billion rupees.
