Short-term employment program starts for manpower involved in tourism sector

POKHARA, Oct 01: A short-term employment program has been started for the manpower involved in the tourism sector in coordination with the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) Western Regional Association Pokhara, Nepal Tourism Board and the United Nations Development Program.

Accordingly, the program was started on Thursday, September 30 with the involvement of 21 hiking workers for the maintenance and sanitation program of the trekking route from Birethanti-Dangsing-Mohoria-Tadapani to Dhandurak.

From today onwards, cleaning and maintenance of Kande-Australian Camp-Pothana-Dhampush-Astam-Melbot hiking area with the involvement of 16 hiking workers have started for 10 days.
