Shree Airlines Requests Permission for International Flights

KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Shree Airlines has submitted a proposal to the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) requesting permission for international flights. The airlines company has been taking internal flights using a jet-engine propelled Bombardier, a 78-seat CRJ 700, and a 50-seat CRJ 200.

The Corporate Chief of the company, Anil Manandhar, informed that it will begin flights to different destinations in India as soon as it gains international flight privileges. The airlines also has plans to make flights to Bhutan.

According to Manandhar, the flight destinations in India will be Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, and Benares. As the company also has to co-ordinate with the given country, the process can be prolonged. It also has international license to fly MI helicopters. Manandhar said that upgrading this license can make the process easier.
