Simrik Airlines start Kathmandu-Bharatpur-Kathmandu flights

CHITWAN, March 22: Simrik Airlines has started Kathmandu-Bharatpur-Kathmandu flights from today.

A 9N-AGI aircraft of the Air that took off at 9:55 am from Kathmandu touched down at 10:20 am at Bharatpur airport, said Chief of Bharatpur airport Shiva Sharma Upadhyay.

With this one, the number of airlines companies operating flights on this route has reached three.

The 18-seat plane carried 15 passengers while flying from Kathmandu to Bharatpur and returned with eight passengers, said Upadhyay.

The airfare set by the Airlines from Kathmandu to Bharatpur is Rs 3,500 per person, a normal fare being charged by other airlines.

So far Buddha Air and Yeti Airlines have been operating three flights between Kathmandu and Bharatpur every day.
