Simrik helicopter crashes at rooftop helipad of Grande Hospital

KATHMANDU, June 30: A helicopter belonging to Simrik Air has crashed while landing at the rooftop helipad of Grande Hospital in Dhapasi. The helicopter, with the call sign 9N-ALR, had crashed while landing after the pilot lost control of the aircraft, informed the information official at Grande Hospital, Binod Adhikari.
The helicopter fell 10 feet from the helipad onto the roof of the hospital during the crash. There were no reported casualties, however the helicopter has suffered damage to its rotors and left side.
The helicopter, flown by Captain Hareram Thapa, was meant to pick up a medical team and supplies to Bharatpur, Chitwan.
