Soaltee Hotel starts Indian Food Festival

KATHMANDU, Aug 17: Soaltee Hotel has started a food festival featuring dishes from North and South (Uttar-Dakshin) India on Thursday. The festival featured a variety of traditional Northern and Southern Indian dishes of all kinds, informed Soaltee Food and Beverage Manager Kedar Pandey.
Guests will be served a wide variety of dishes including chutney with roti, rice, biryani, and others, informed Executive Chef Yuvraj Pokharel. "Nepalis have been enjoying South and North Indian food. From the north, traditional food items from Kashmir to Kanyakumari have been included in the festival. In the south, food from Kerela, Tamil Nadu, Andra, Karnata, etc. have been included," he said.
The items have been divided into snacks, main course, and dessert. Pokharel informed that the North and South Indian Food Festival is being organized for the third time as customer demand grew. All ingredients for the dishes have been imported from India.
