Stay Hotel Valley View starts operation in state capital Surkhet

KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Stay Hotel Valley View , has started operation in Birendranagar, Surkhet at an investment of Rs. 70 million. The hotel is situated in Gadhi which is a chief tourist attraction in the area. It has been constructed in the newly-declared state capital, Surkhet, and is hoped to provide facilities that have been missing for tourists and visitors in the area.

Tourists visiting Rara, Mugu and Jwala in Dailekh will now find adequate accommodations with full facilities. The Stay Hotel Valley View also includes a large hall with the capacity to accommodate 1000 people, making it suitable to host large programs in the state capital. Previously, any large programs and conferences in the area would take place in Nepalgunj due to lack of a suitable place.

The hotel is situated at a height and allows view of the entire Birendranagar valley, and tourist destinations Sitapaila and Gadhi. Hotel owner Tarka Bahadur Shahi said, "We have invested in the hotel according to the needs of the state capital. The population is increasing and the increasing number of tourists visiting Rara have begun to require more hotels in this area." He said that the hotel has also been established targeting the tourists visiting Rara. The hotel can currently provide accommodation to 50 guests. Shahi also informed that the hotel offers various packages to customers and serves its guests with locally produced organic food.
