Stress on bringing Ayurveda medicine back to its old glory

KATHMANDU, Feb 12: A free Ayurvedic Health Camp was held at Fusku locality in Nagarjun Municipality on Saturday by the Zonal Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Jayabageshwori and a local cooperative.

A total of 400 people underwent cost free health treatment at the camp and received herbal medicines for free. At the programme, Zonal Ayurvedic Pharmacy's Dr Shrawan Kumar Shrestha stressed on need of reviving the great treatment procedure of the Ayurveda medicine and bringing it back to its old glory. "Unlike the modern medicinal system, there are no negative impacts of the Ayurveda medicine, this is our traditional medicinal system," he shared. Ichangunarayan Ayurveda Pharmacy In-charge, Mina Duwadi, said the government must support the promotion of herbal medicinal treatment in the backdrop of people's growing attraction towards Ayurveda.
