Summit Air adds another Passenger seat aircraft to its fleet

KATHMANDU, Oct 10 : Summit Air, the former Goma Air has announced the arrival of its one more L410 UVPE-20 18 Passenger seat aircraft making a release on Tuesday.

“The aircraft which has flown less than 2000 hours since manufacture arrived today at 13:15 Hours from New Delhi. The Aircraft was ferried by Captain Stephen Jolly from Algeria,” The release from Summit Air states.

The Aircraft is equipped with latest Avionics (EGPWS, TCAS, Weather Radar, Auto Pilot). This would be the first aircraft in Nepal in its category with air conditioning facility, as per the claims by the airlines which is set to make a loud entry in Nepali skies.

The aircraft after the completing the Civil Aviation of Nepal requirement will be put to operation. Summit Air after this addition will have four L410 UVPE-20 Aircraft in its fleet. The aircraft will services the STOL airfield of Eastern, Western and Mid Western Airfields of Nepal.
