Test flight of Paragliding goes successful in Dagam of Western Nepal

DAMAULI, Sep 26: A successful test flight of paragliding in Nepal’s Western District of Tanahun’s Suklagandaki Municipality was made on Saturday.

The test flight was initiated by Suklagandaki Tourism Promotion Council who shook permission from the municipality for the test flight.  The flight which took off from Dagam landed in Bankewa of Suklagandaki 3.

“We made three paraglide to fly over,” General Secretary of Nepal Paragliding Association Sailendra Rawat said. With the construction and expansion of the Pokhara International Airport alternatives are being search for the paragliding and the association has been conducting various test flights in different locations.

Solo pilot Ganesh Thapa, Rajesh Khanal and Basanta Timalsina have made the successful test of flights.
