Thai Airways organizes blood donation, cardio health check-up program

KATHMANDU, August 01: Thai Airways International Public organized blood donation and cardiac health check-up program on Monday.

The Bangkok-based carrier the programme was organised in Kathmandu also celebrated annual CSR program of THAI to commemorate the 25th year of the incident in 1992, the airline said in the statement.

On the occasion, chief guest Thai ambassador to Nepal Bhakavat Tanskul was accompanied by Madam Chompoonut Tanskul.

"More than 120 people donated blood to the Red Cross Society, Blood Transfusion Service, and maximum number of participants got the benefit of general health and cardio checkup from the competent team of Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre," the airline said in the statement.

"Travel Agents, walking clients, well wishers along with Thai Airways family were among the participants and donors."

Thai Airways expects to host this program on 31 July every year.
