Thai Lion to operate in Nepal from August

KATHMANDU, July 25: Thai Lion Air will operate flights in Nepal from August 1. The airline was supposed to be operated from July 1 but due to busy schedule it will now be operated from August 1. Thai Lion requested the government to allow the flight schedule in afternoon but due to the condition of air traffic in Tribhuwan International Airport, it has provided the time for the evening.
The airlines will be arriving in Nepal at 5:30 pm and then it will again fly in 6:30 pm. It will be operating direct flight service. Before Thai Lion, Thai Airways and Nepal Air Corporation conducted flight service from Bangkok-Kathmandu. Likewise, CAAN has also given permission to Salam Air to operate from Maskat-Kathmandu. Salam Air will be operating flights in the morning time.
